NIKE

 NIKE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
The Women’s Basketball community is known to be one of the most inclusive that exists in culture. Its fan base is broad and although it hasn’t been given the spotlight it’s often deserved, it’s always made space for all to be a part of it. When Nike set out to launch the first ever WNBA Athlete shoe since the ‘96 Air Swoopes, it came with a message that it’s our time. And not just for those untouchable pro athletes, but for all of us. It’s On.

Jewell Loyd introduces her Kyrie Low 5 PE in social.

We made the experience shoppable.

And we brought the experience In-Store, allowing fans to get up close and truly feel a part of the community.

Napheesa Collier was next to introduce her very own KD 15. This particular launch was very close to my heart. I too am a former athlete who had just given birth to a beautiful baby girl. Phee was about to become a mother soon after! Instead of shying away from or trying to shoot around that, we leaned in…as we should, and broadened her reach and exposure by also featuring her in Nike Motherhood. The icing on the cake was me getting the chance to actually conduct the one-on-one interview!
