The Blue Jean Mile was created by distance runner Johnny Gregorek  as a tribute to his brother. It has since become a tradition honoring loved ones who struggle with mental illness. Telling these runners’ stories is an effort to help others feel less alone and shed a light on a topic that demands respect and attention and it’s one I’ve felt very privileged to be a part of.
